How to Strip a car completely and parting out in this case an Acura Integra GSR for the Honda Civic Ek9 Build In todays episode of Stauffer Garage, the Integra shell is continuing to be torn apart for parts for the civic hatch build and ebay! The integra GSR will be harvested for everything that I can get from it to make the "project Civic" hatchback a better track purpose race car. Learn how to strip a parts car down to the frame so you can get all the car parts you need for your car and sell the extras to make a profit! I can actually pay for the parts car, and my good car with these parts!

Good news is I have been busy breaking down the Integra further and have the entire interior pulled. Every nut, bolt, wire is removed and now the exterior is getting the same treatment. There is so much money in individual parts on ebay... its crazy. Last night while trying to drop the entire subframe with front suspension, I shattered a 19mm socket with a 5ft breaker bar... so an impact socket is necessary when I go back to battle with the undercarriage. The plan is to swap over all of the integra suspension, knuckles, brakes and subframe (utilize GSR sway, steering rack converted to manual and the T-bracket) which will work perfectly if I can get the PIC bushing set. I'll be restoring the suspension components with those bushings, fresh coat of paint prior to reinstalling so they are just like new when they go on the civic hatch.

I've heard multiple responses on the necessity but I need some advice on rebuilding the GSR calipers or just buying new from Rockauto and sending the old ones in as cores. Thoughts? Also, the brake master cylinder, booster will need to be swapped over and I am curious if the distribution block from the civic DX will work or the GSR...

The 96 Acura Integra GSR organ donor car that will be stripped for parts to pay for the project along with having the heart and suspension transplanted onto the civic.

Project Civic Hatchback Build:

Welcome to Stauffer Garage! I am beginning an EK civic project car build and will be documenting the entire process vlog style along with tutorials and updates. I have picked up an Integra GSR for cheap and will be pulling the B18C and all other components that will fit and putting them onto my Civic. Goals for this car are to make it daily but it will be primarily a track day weapon! Boost might come into play along with other mayhem! Not a drift car build, but this will certainly be closer to a race car build when all is said and done for this little hatchback

Be sure to subscribe to follow along with this build and the other projects that come along!

If you come down to the Dayton-Springfield area of Ohio, we're trying to boost the JDM scene. Yeah, we have ricers but there are a lot of boosted cars and people who actually know what they're doing.
