Glitch! Note, I used CoreXY and H-bot interchangeably in this video. In reality they are different configs of the same kind of movement. The FB Tornado is the H-Bot configuration.

"Who is this for? [...] Masochists." I do appreciate the bluntness. It's a nice change from some of the reviews that feel like, "You'll have to swap the extruder, MOSFETs, parts of the frame, solder the wires for the bed and heater cartridge directly to the $<5 RAMPS, edit the firmware, and probably just replace the PSU if you want your house to not be on fire at inconvenient hours, depending on your schedule. Overall, not a plug and play machine, but maybe great for tinkerers. 8/10"

Using Flyingbear P902..the company's first model...needed some firmware adjustment and now it prints perfect...

Assuming this is a rigid setup, throw all the printer components, source a cheap CNC setup and turn it in to a CNC with a large bay. It hasn't been done in ages now, but you can build 3D items with these types of CNC by adding the layers as they are finished. From, example, polycarbonate sheets, or wood, or metal.

So... how does it compare to the FT-5? The FT-5 has almost all the same specs (minus core-XY) for the same price, and it's my favorite printer so far.

An honest review. Love it! This is what I needed to see. Been considering a cheap CNC laser from china that is 1/3 the cost of lasers here in the US. This review of knock off stuff answers the quality question of tech out of China.

Agreed! I’m very happy with my own-design CoreXY. We had some bumps in the road (as can be seen in my videos) but he’s a beauty and utterly reliable. When you move up to CoreXY from a simpler configuration, you should really have the joy of designing and building it from scratch.

The second generation Flying Bear Tornado looks like it made a lot of improvements over the original. I had been considering one, but after this review makes me very cautious of the company as a whole.
