Toyota Wish - All the good and bad

This is my daily driver. It’s roomy and comfortable. I can fit my whole family. Smooth engine and transmission make it a very well rounded vehicle. It’s so popular in Malaysia that you can’t get out of the house without spotting another Wish on the road.

I have been driving 2 Toyota Wish, the 04/09 for 9 years, and now the 13/18. They are fuel economical, reliable and comfortable. Single blower, no issue, third row passengers normally are kids, they just enjoy the night scene!😁

I own a Wish, it's 10/10 for practicality but handling and power are not its strengths. It's size makes it heavy and sluggish, and not the easiest thing to back. The best thing about it is the reliability. Mine has done over 200, 000km and the only thing that has needed replacement is a starter motor. It is showing it's age now, with the seals starting to leak a small amount of oil. However, as it was purchased to move the family and their gear it's done it's job admirably and has lasted until our eldest is no longer reliant on the parents for transport. They're still popular so even my 20 year old model has good resale value vs the initial purchase price.

I'd recommend the Toyota people mover range (the Wish has been discontinued and the Sienta is the replacement.) I drove the Sienta as a rental in Japan, as it had electric sliding doors on both sides so it had better access to the back row and the extra weight didn't make it too difficult to handle.

Sir, I thing you're review is wrong..This is very comfortable recond car...Toyota Wish second generation ZGE20 chasis .Manufactured on 2009 from Japan..I used the X Spec type, disc brake front and rear and Standard Rim 16"..I Used from 2011 until now almost 11 years..No Major problem..Very nice and economy car for my family...many road in malaysia already travel...Peninsular Malaysia Federal road, Genting, Cameron, east-west highway, Gua Musang and Banjaran Crocker at Kimanis Sabah except Sarawak day an night travel..low cost maintenance...most recommended who wan to buy this car for latest facelifts...😊👍👍👍

Just subscribe and this is very informative in everyway. I have long time wish to buy this wish considering the exterior design which is very sleek and sporty. Never min the interior because that can be modified accordingly to make it much better looking when inside. Overall, it is a nice looking MPV which can sits 7 persons.
