For a car design that's near on 18 years old, I think they still look fairly fresh and have aged well. Nice quality interiors too!

I used to have a Mondeo like this. Mine was the facelifted model. It did everything well. It was practical, reasonably quick, handled well and was pretty economical. I miss that car.

Mine 2010 2L TDCi Mondeo Edge is in the same colour. Love it. Have had it for 5 years and now 80 000 miles later not planning to sell it anytime soon. Using it for leisure trips around UK. Carried me to every corner of Britain except of Channel Islands and Shetlands. Best mate on the roads. Never broke down out there.

I've got a late 57plate mondeo Titanium X estate now on 312k miles best car I've ever owned it has the bombproof 2.2 psa diesel . Only let me down once in the nearly 17 years I've owned it and that was battery not the cars fault

The Bond car was a 2.5 Litre Titanium X Sport. It had two exhaust pipes and a spoiler. I had the 2.2 diesel version, really good car :)

this era of Mondeo is probably the most reliable modernish Ford for real.

Legend has it the Mondeo was actually worth 2x as much as the Aston because it was a pre-production car.

The best thing about your videos, apart from the way you talk, is that the cars are attainable.

Love the Titanium Sport X estate with the 2.5 petrol look great. Never owned one but always admired them.

Would have been more than happy with a motor like this when I was younger - in my twenties I used to drive around in a 12 year old Granada which made me feel like a king at the time.

Good to see the Haynes manual. I used to work in the editorial dept in Sparkford, Somerset.

That’s a very good comfortable car, great on the motorway and has a huge boot. Fab alloy design. Really was a good well built car in the first place and how much do we all love seeing a nice history file! Nice video 👍

Just out of interest ( or not as a bit geeky )I think 007's Ford Mondeo rental car from Casino Royale the screen car was actually a hand built prototype, I think with a fibreglass body and was therefore not ' type approved '. Following the release of the film, the car was donated by Ford to the Ian Fleming Foundation. Nice to see a review of a ' classic ' Ford

Another great vid Matt. You don't need to make a shed load every time & you prove that! Them boot liners are brilliant, especially when you normally carry odd stuff (tip run) in there....They are worth every penny....All the best....

I had one of those way back in 2010, got rid of it in 2015 because I needed more room for my disabled daughter and all her equipment, sold it for a brand new jeep Cherokee worst thing I ever did and the jeep was the worst car I’ve ever owned nothing but issues, spent more time in the garage than on the road, got rid of that for a discovery sport, then a velar and never looked back .
