The Director National Curriculum Development Centre Grace Baguma has praised the speed at which the Chinese Language is developing in Uganda after it was officially approved to be taught in the curriculum of secondary schools. Baguma assured the schools and learners who have embraced Chinese that they will sit their first UNEB examinations in 2023 and obtain certificates in the international language. She was speaking during a competition in Chinese speech and drama by secondary schools held at Makerere University today.

How many Chinese speak uganda local languages in china? Don't they want to be apart of the work being done in Uganda. This is not right.

Teachers might wanna teach kiswahili in schools since many children might use that in their life time than Chinese.

Buh wat have realised z it's so easy for black pipo to learn aza languages now like me hv just spent only two yrs in saudi buh I speak fluent Arabic and my goal z learn Spanish to make it 10 languages dat I speak

You can hardly speak common swahili spoken in your own region infact it's been scrapped off the curriculum yet efforts have been put on studying Chinese! ❗ ❓ ❗
