Ugandan schools take part in Chinese language competition

The Director National Curriculum Development Centre Grace Baguma has praised the speed at which the Chinese Language is developing in Uganda after it was officially approved to be taught in the curriculum of secondary schools. Baguma assured the schools and learners who have embraced Chinese that they will sit their first UNEB examinations in 2023 and obtain certificates in the international language. She was speaking during a competition in Chinese speech and drama by secondary schools held at Makerere University today.
