I’m proud of every employee at Sephora that helped her.

She’s telling the absolute truth, my daughter had a similar experience in NYC. That place is a mess. As a man I never wear earphones, I’ve been harassed in major cities.

I'm so glad she's ok and the employees were able to help protect her 🙏 that's scary

Ladies, please leave your headphones at home, you have to be aware of your surroundings all the time. Scary for Sistine, the fact that no one outside helped her it's actually mind blowing. Glad she's ok.

Nobody can help anymore because every guy who tries to help gets arrested and/or sued

That's why New Yorkers don't talk to each other on the street. That guy.

Unfortunately no one will help cause the last guy who protected women on a subway is now being charged for manslaughter.

That's typical of NYC. Once I was in the subway and a creep started yelling at me some racist comments and even threw at me a plastic bag with some litter inside. I was with my ex and he just said let's just move to the back.
People around were just watching and some were even laughing. Like it was funny. I felt horrible and completely alone even if i was surrounded by many.

Firstly, I'm sorry that this happened to you. Unfortunately in NYC this is normal for citizens to act as though nothing is happening. Glad to know that the Sephora Ladies had your back until NYPD arrived on the scene.

Poor thing. That’s terrifying. My daughter had a scary experience happen and I told her to find people, she did and they protected her. This is so heartbreaking that this poor girl was tormented this way. She’s so sweet, so well spoken. Beautiful girl. She and my daughter are the same age. Thank you for sharing your story. Always good to know your surroundings! ❤.

The only thing scarier than his behaviour is no one doing anything.
Unfortunate no police were around.
What if she hadn’t t been fit enough to sprint like that and make it into Sephora?
What if he’d been closer behind? As she said, what could the store workers ultimately do?
Awful. Glad she is safe.
I fell partially between a tube and the platform in London once
I pulled myself back up
I had a huge bruise all the way down my leg and arm
I was in so much pain
I cried on the tube
No one did anything even though everyone saw.
One person silently handed me a tissue.
It felt dehumanising.
Weirdly I felt ashamed and embarrassed.

I'm so sorry Sistine. As a lifeguard and Christian I would never let this happen to someone. You're so brave. I lost my dad to cancer and my dad and I watched all the Rocky series together. I find the series helped me so much in life and get through hard times that I'm facing now. God Bless you and
your family.

Oh my dear, I’m sorry that happened to you! How scary. We all need to look out for each other. Good thinking you went into a store to get help. Thank you for sharing your experience. I hope you can process this experience and be ok. ❤

It's not the bystander effect. It's the Daniel Penny effect, which is men getting arrested for stepping up to defend women from attacks. Daniel being punished for doing the right thing has put so many women at far more risk.

That psycho could have very easily killed her. Doesn't take much to cut someone in the right place. The sisters should always be with security if they are not at home. Im honestly surprised that Sly doesn't have dependable security for each of the girls on his pay roll. He has lived and traveled his whole life, he knows how things have changed with society. 😮😮

I hate people who would harass innocent people for no good reason.

That was terrifying. Thanks for sharing. I’m always worrying about my granddaughters. I live in New York.

Why would men help if they get arrested and/or sued every time they try?
