Basic Items needed!
~ 1.5 Cups Self-Rising Flour
~ 8 ounces Greek Yogurt
~ Bake 350 degrees

Use a fruit flavored yogurt, add dried fruit if desired, pat in a circle, cut into wedges with a pizza cutter, bake and call 'em scones!

When my husband and I go to the grocery store I say, “Patara says if you can’t buy a whole lot, just buy 5 extra cans of food or pasta/rice to stock up.” At first he would say who? Now it’s like, I know, Patara said right? 😂 At least he’s on board for stocking up.

I have never made homemade bread or biscuits. My mother never taught us. I am 65 years old. I keep saying I am going to learn. But not this weekend. I am going to visit my daughter (42) and bring her 10 yr old niece along. They have a blast together. We do everything from going to the park to playing board games to face painting etc. A girl’s weekend 😂. Y’all have a Blessed Weekend.

I throw a 1/2 to 1 cup of red lentils in my spaghetti sauce to save on meat. Red lentils add a meat like texture and protein.

I buy my yogurt from the refrigerated sale bin at my local grocery store and freeze the yogurt for baking. The only thing you may have to do is stir the yugart after thawed and it works great for recipes.

OMGosh I love seeing a clothespin on the flour bag. I use the same for all bags. OR twisted tied from loaves of bread from 10 years ago. I've told my kids if ever needed I can save the world with my baggie of bread ties.

I just made flatbread in a skillet with 2 cups self rising flour, 4tbsp butter, and 2/3 cup water. Pat out dough like fat tortillas and cook low in skillet until they look like tortillas. Delicious biscuit like bread .

Pizza crust 1 cup sr flour to 3/4 cup yogurt. Really good. I double it and use a sheet pan. Yum. Thanks Patara. I will be trying these.

Since I grew up in the deep south, I keep my flour in big Rubbermaid. I sift the entire bag when I dump it in. Then I sift again when I bake. My aunt always sifted her flour 3 times for her yummy pound cake. Love your channel Patara❣️🤗🌻

Because of you I’ve been making homemade bread since September. My first year of gardening is almost here and I’m buying canning supplies. I started a hydroponics system to grow tomatoes, lettuce and herbs until I can start outside gardening.
