My childhood is gone. I was highly hoping for an Ice Age 6 so I could see Diego and Shira's cubs, but I guess that will never be. R.I.P Blue Sky studios. Thank you for all The Ice Age movies which are by far my favourite ones. At least I can still play Ice Age Adventures on my phone for a long time to come

Disney could’ve just sold it to any other company. Time Warner, Sony, Comcast, MGM, Viacom, Netflix, Amazon. But noooo. They decided to shut it down, when selling it was more rational, and lucrative. I know Disney+ has a future ice age show, in terms of rights and ownership, but still.

It's studios may have closed, but it doesn't mean everything is lost.
They are still going to make movies, but they will have the mark of Disney
