How about helping all rhode islanders..how we going to survive our kids eat a lot and our bills adds up...all she doing is closing, closing and closing we need help too..and shut down school it's not fair for our kids and teachers...is wierd to me the she keep saying the there's not cases coming from the school so why there's not teachers going to school. And lot of school are close here in RI...

I love how folks are so resentful and question everything they have no knowledge of out of frustration and irritation, but the fact is they tried to tell people to buck up and suck it up with masks and keeping distance, and if folks had listened we would be in better shape right now. Those of you that walk around talking of civil liberties and "they can't force me to do it" is why we are here. The data is there and it is public domain to seek it out Aside from it being common sense. Honestly, y'all shouldn't rest all your aggression on one individual. Gina is not a doctor or expert so she utilizes those around here that give her that information. If they recommend closing then she will weigh those options and make decisions based on those recommendations and the data provided. How hard is that to understand? Their not implementing these restrictions to hurt people. Gina has stressed that she can't enforce upon anyone to mask up and take this seriously, and that it is up to the people to follow the guidelines. So for me I don't understand why everyone wants to attack this woman who is simply doing her best in a situation that is rapidly out ofcontrol. If y'all think you can do better then I suggest you get your name on the ballot and put yourself in her position.

Point blank no one cares enough about others to just follow simple rules and use their brains. Yes it sucks hard to lose your job yes it sucks hard to keep kids home from school..yes everything sucks right now...do you think you're the only one who's bored and struggling. Ha! Think again it's literally all of us. My children and I have been tested twice we have done distance learning and bc I needed a job I sent them to school. Feeling guilty and realizing they intended to close schools again made it difficult for me to keep the job. We're all home again. We're going to need to be tested again. I have relatives who have died from the virus. We are all immunocompromised. And somehow we are sick now even though we have been staying home. Gina isn't doing a good enough job enforcing these rules bc adults want to act like children and run around. I'm disappointed in everything and everyone. Wash your hands, stop touching your face wear a mask PROPERLY and stay away from stupid people.
