Deere parts prices are high, but the fact that they still sell any parts for a tractor that's getting on to 60 years old is amazing to me. I don't know if you ever watch Squatch253 on the Tube, but he bought some parts from Cat for a D2 that's over 80 years old. My great uncle had an obsolete Cat machine with no new parts available. Cat found a used machine in Bolivia (South America) and had the parts removed and imported to the US. I don't care what they cost, that's customer service!

A seed cleaning plant might have some similar type screen laying around. But what you have should be fine. Can’t wait to see her done. Great video

When pulling the sleve what is the other end of the puller look like? Is it also a flat bar like the top?

Kinda hoping you were going to go with a chrome straight pipe. I have ordered stuff from A&I. Good folks to deal with and they got a ton of stuff for the older tractors. Where did Antoin learn his mechanic skills. He ain't scared to jump on most anything.

i just looked on tractor house at 5020 for sale priced from 8000 to 54000, 1 parts tractor no engine 2500.00 i would say you got a good investment going on for your farm.
