The First-Ever Kashmir Marathon: A Celebration of Spirit and Unity

On October 20th, 2024, at 6:15 AM, the much-anticipated Kashmir Marathon will kick off from the picturesque Polo View in Srinagar, officiated by none other than Chief Minister Shri Omar Abdullah. This landmark event is not just a test of endurance but a vibrant celebration of culture, community, and the breathtaking beauty of Kashmir.

The Kashmir Marathon has attracted a remarkable array of participants, featuring 60 international runners alongside professional Indian athletes, all drawn by the promise of a scenic route that winds through the stunning landscapes of the Valley. With total prize money amounting to an impressive Rs. 3 crore, the event serves as a testament to the region's commitment to promoting sports and tourism.
