In this video, I install the high clearance Outlaw cat back system by Flowmaster. Install was pretty straight forward and as long as you don't have a ton of old, dry mud and or corrosion on your factory components, it should be pretty easy. I love how this system sounds!

WD40 on the rubber hangers help make it alot easier to remove then as well.

The muffler on my 19 JLUR was beat to shit on the rocks. I had a muffler shop fab a connection onto a low profile Magnaflow muffler and there is no additional sound and the muffler is out of the way and exits out the back of the wheel well. Much happier. Great video.

Sounds good! I've been thinking about adding some sound to my JT.

Sounds good. I went with the Dynomax muffler delete. Only cost $100 and isn’t to loud at all. Not sure if it’s the factory change in the Y-pipe from the Jk to the JL or what. JK’s are obnoxiously loud with the muffler delete and that just isn’t the case on JL’s.

Those rubber hangers come right off with a little WD-40 or equivalent. No reason to cut anything. Spray WD-40 at the clamp locations as well, they will slip right off with a little twisting. These exhaust systems definitely add sound, but don't offer any real performance gains. Same thing with the so called "cold air intakes" absolutely minimal at best, they just add noise under the hood. The high clearance part of the exhaust is definitely nice. I put one on my JK just for that reason. I like not having the big factory muffler, but the highway drone is annoying.

Sounds really good but I have a quick question. Why did you decide to mount your rear track bar backwards?

you don't need no muffler!!! Let them straight pipes sing... It lets the neighbors know when your coming or going.
