The Game Awards is getting bigger and better every year. From the amazing orchestra to the world premier game reveals to all the diverse game awards themselves, it has become THE night to look forward to for gamers. Most importantly, it is a celebration of video games and recognizing the people from all walks of life who made them throughout the year in one night. It is a place where we're all just gamers celebrating video games regardless of which platform we play games at. Where events like E3 would stand to divide gamers into different platforms, The Game Award stands to unify everyone together. The opening statement and gathering of Reggie, Phil and Shawn is a testament of that and is a historical moment. Truly, Geoff Keighley should be proud of what he has managed to accomplish thus far. As a gamers, I salute you and wish you all the success in 2019's Game Awards and all the years beyond.
