An Archangel would outrank Lucifer, so maybe tensions boil over and in a split second Lucifer makes a call that puts him and Charlie's dream at risk- Stopping Michael or Uriel from killing Charlie. A moment of love for his greatest creation.
EDIT: So apparently people can't read replies, yes I have been told several times that Archangels are actually pretty low ranking all things considered.

Small theory: maybe heaven is the same as hell geogicly? Lile in christian lore, other then the 7 deadly sins, there are slso 7 heavenly virtues. So maybe heaven would also have these types if ring like hell? Wonder if they'll have there own princses too

It is biblically accurate that Lucifer was a seraph before his fall! I love being Catholic bc I get to learn about the weirdness that is angels. Super cool! I'd love to see archangels in HH or HB but idk how they'd be used for the story until later on in it's development
