I converted my Class B motorhome to a dually!

As promised, the dually conversion of my Dodge Islander Class B motorhome is complete! The difference in traction and stability is second to none, and also it now LOOKS proper, far nicer than when it has single wheels deep inside the widebody that made the van look precariously unstable.

I have no sponsorship from them, and received no discount. I just genuinely like their product, and they are highly spoken of across the industry, and in fact they are the company that made the exact same adapters for the popular Dodge Xplorer Class B dually vans, among many others.

My advice: buy the rear AND front adapters so you can have matching wheels and tires all around.

An overlooked item for the 3500 series trucks is an anti sway bar on the rear. Also an upgraded front anti sway bar.For the dually conversion make sure you install an anti sway bar on the rear.

She’s lookin even better and now I want dualies for safety in every van I get in! Lol I’m not even driving right now but I’m the one who never drank when younger so I always was made to drive! I drove every vehicle known to man! I even got my CDL and later years became the only female limo driver around. I DID have to drive a dualie truck and I recall it was a dream and easier handling. I did have a little trouble coz I’m little and couldn’t reach the pedals (😂) without my purse and jacket behind me😂😂😂. I never forgot that. My son wants one (truck) so imma talk dualies to him now. Thanks I always watch been here awhile! CONGRATULATIONS 🎊🎈🍾🙏🏻❤️

No one will ever convince me twice the amount of surface contact creates less traction.

I've been watching since 2010 or 11 . I've wanted a class B since I found your channel, I grew up in New Orleans my folks had 2 15 passenger vans for their swamp tour and transportation business. I almost took my driver's license test in one at 15😂. Class B's are hard to find down south. Koritfw 🔥

If you want to make the handling even better, put a set of Bilstein shocks on it, and the handling will get even better.

LOL .. I loved your "Vomit" episode! That was great! I think maybe some comments about less traction with a dully might come from someone who is running a pickup with no weight in the back. I have a Dodge 4 x 4 - 1 ton flat bed .. it's really a beast .. used it to pull new RVs all over the US. It was terrible without 4x4 engaged in wet ground .. compared to my Dodge 3/4 ton which is also 4x4. Sometimes I have used my 1 ton (4x4 engaged) to pull a steep grade with a 14 ft. dump bed full of logs up a driveway to a friend's sawmill and it wasn't an easy pull. The 3/4 ton with 4x4 engaged would pull the hill in granny gear .. same trailer and load .. with no problem. The 3/4 is lower geared than the 1 ton. I have often wondered where I might get adaptors to make a 3/4 into a dully .. so when I am pulling a long camper bumper pull .. it does less road sway .. and handles more like the 1 ton on highway travel. Enjoyed the video .. been watching your stuff for a while .. from southwestern Arkansas! 🙂

Definitely making me want to pull the trigger on this! My biggest complaint about my Econoline based widebody is the sway and traction. I only wish i hadnt bought new tires less than a year ago 😆
