Ok everyone here is being dumb. If i load up a streamer im there to watch the streaming. Not a BRB steam. Then people are saying its narcissistic, which is also wrong. If im there to watch the streamer, I'd like to watch the streamer. Do you want them to pull up Pewdiepie or something?

Tbh thats a waste of time. Just delays how long before you actually walk away, inevitably delaying when you return. If your only gonna be gone for less than 10 minutes chat can entertain themselves by staring at whatever you were doing before.

As a streamer on my main account, these comments are making me glad I just slap a BRB scene up with a small animation of my model floating while I leave a game up for chat to play while I'm gone (like suika/fruit drop, or one of the other chat games on steam that I'm blanking on the names of), for the exact reasons everyone is saying here.

I've had people (outside of my community) suggest playing old content while I'm taking my breaks (5min every hour, I pee a lot and also have medical issues that it's better if I move a little every hour than just be a lump all day), and I was always afraid doing that would make people dip for all the reasons everyone is saying here.

This came up in my recommended, I'm glad I saw it to say, this is a bad idea and would make me leave a stream it's annoying and prolonging ur leave n return, and new ppl joining will just think ur just playing old vids. As a new person, i can say its true, now im no longer interested so I'll now will click that button, sorry hope you find a new method tho
