For those asking, Warglaives of Azzinoth have a really low drop rate from a raid called the Black Temple. It's a long ass raid and since it's a fresh server, most people only have 2-3 runs on it. This means that guy was lucky enough to receive a 5% drop rate item, twice. I think this is correct, meh, good enough.

I play on skyfury, heres the "story". Apparently he ran a pug night before reset/guild run for BT. Offhand dropped and he won it. Then RIGHT after reset, MH dropped. Essentially both on the same day.

When I understood how Rare Illidan's Warglaves were then I understood the look on his face.

1. Blizzard's warden is offline ever since they got sued for invasion of privacy
2. Drops are determined on creation of the raid or dungeon ID. Meaning you can see what items are going to be dropping if you know what you're doing, much like you could back in original vanilla/tbc with Atlasloot.
Back in OG tbc the item cache would be cleared for reset. Items wouldn't show stats until someone on the server logged on with that item, or if that item is on the boss to be dropped. So what people would do is jot down all the names of people they know have the glaives, add them to friends list, then reset BT IDs until atlasloot showed you the item you were after like warglaives.
You would probably be able to find it with cheat engine, but I'm not going to risk it. I know some GDKP groups have been using this method though, because they were saying they can guarantee warglaives on their guild website.

It is possible to have both drop in the same run, 5% for each.

As mentioned already it is a 0.25% chance, or 1 in 400 per lockout.
