Not too many true story movies where an actual person was this heavily involved in the production

I think Elizabeth handled this production in a really intelligent way. I was blown away by the movie. It wasn't easy to watch. I can certainly understand why she would not want to see it again. It was told so well through her eyes. The part that broke my heart the most was when she's looking at all of the missing children's photos at the shopping market. Trying to find herself and wondering if she's been forgotten. I remember her talking about that so early on, before she even wrote her book. If I ever had the honor of meeting Elizabeth in person I always wanted to tell her that I never forgot her when she was missing! <3

Watched the movie with my niece it was a great way for me to talk to her about hopefully ways to protect herself

I agree - Elizabeth is one of the most amazing people I've ever heard or learned about. She is so beautiful, smart, strong. She has an eloquent voice. She is just a beautiful soul; a beautiful human being.

I can't imagine how deeply surreal it must've been for Elizabeth to be a part of this, but I'm so happy to see her doing so well and using what she went through to help others.

Now that I look at the women that acted as Wanda Barzee and skeet ulrich I cant look at them the same because that’s just how good the movie was a showing what happened to Elizabeth smart

It was a well done for for such a horrifying story. The actress looks just like her!

Honestly when I first saw the movie I was hoping this was an accurate depiction of her story and triumph for survival. It was a very hard thing to watch but this makes me feel better coming from her that Hollywood didn’t change a detail.
