I'm sure a lot of people would agree with me if I said that ROBOTECH/MACROSS is in dire need of a remake (it's been long enough) and this style would be PERFECT!

I remember this being Macross in Japan when I was a young kid and then later in the states as Robotech as an older kid. The feeling I felt back then knowing that a great anime was now showing in the states made feel all giddy. Now after seeing this remastered version I feel like that same kid of many years ago. It always seemed weird to me as a kid that Force of Arms wasn't the finale of the series. It's so utterly and unbelievably epic and seemed like a pretty natural place for the series to conclude.

I do think all of the rebuilding stuff was good also, and to appropriately have Khyron end up as the final villain (because, let's be honest, he is by far the best villain in all of Robotech) but To the Stars didn't have quite the same climactic punch
