His mentioning and explaining of "Teaching Intelligence" is one of those "Oh Yeah, Of Course, Now I Get It !!! " moments in my life. It's events like this that make life worth living.👍👍👍

I am so happy to have found this video. We learned about this when I studied psychology in university as well as in early childhood education in college. I have ideas about how this can help develop much in the children in our classes. Thank you for all of your work, Dr. Gardner.

g = genetic intelligence and inherited genetic potential. the basics we are taught in school are language, writing, spelling, mathematics, and physical and health education. do not underestimate genetic intelligence. how a bird builds a nest or knows how many tweets means this or that. human intelligence involves the activation of higher cortical learning which essentially supplements genetic intelligence a.k.a. instinct. higher learning is not meant to take the place of basic intelligence, but rather to enhance its potential.

I think what determines if you’re a good worker or not is if you are passionate and care about your job. If you’re just getting up and going to work for the money it won’t necessarily make you an excellent and ethical worker.

Beautiful theory.I think it is still a groundwork towards creating a bigger picture of human intelligence dynamics.

We should not memorize things for the sake of the exams...we should understand things for the sake of future reproducing the facts and applying in real life
