Our Work: What is a geotechnical investigation?

Before starting design or construction on the Inland Rail project, our teams completed investigations of the land and environment the railway passes through. Geotechnical investigations help us understand the type and strength of ground conditions so we can ensure Inland Rail is safely designed and constructed.
