This man shows that he is a perfectionist in planning and building. I just wish home builders showed as much attention to detail in constructing homes as this man does in building a Greenhouse.

My father was a builder from Germany. When he came to the United States he brought new building techniques not commonly used here. His stone work and attention to detail was beautiful. His homes and stone walls look magnificent even today after many decades. I appreciate the attention to detail and how the brick walks were laid. I'm moving to the country and building within the next few years. I'm planning a greenhouse very similar with easy access from my home so I can enjoy gardening as I age. Thank you for sharing, it's perfect!!

What a beautiful demonstration of quality workmanship - even the video is professional! To those who question the substantial foundation, it looks like this is the "heat sink" portion of the construction - the part that gathers and stores the solar energy (look it up ). If this is built in northern Europe (as it appears), it would require that depth of construction so as to be beneath the frost line.

I'm about finished with my greenhouse 12x16, in the Arizona desert, and after studying the fact that they tend to get very HOT in summer, I put a lot of siding on the northside with vents, and will be able to put shades in during summer, and have a lot of venting throughout. A small greenhouse is better than NO greenhouse! I only need it for tomatoes, peppers and eggplant in winter because the orchard here is dormant, and we have a long growing season already. I'm 74, a female, and it has been a challenge at my age to do my final construction project with little to no help. My son will help me put the polycarbonate roofing on and its blocks. But if I could have I would have made one like yours. It's BEAUTIFUL!
