Показать описание
Located in the Aegean Sea, off the southeastern coast of Greece, the Cyclades are an archipelago known for their mysterious marble idols that seem to predate most of the civilizations in the area, possibly beginning as early as the Early Bronze Age, from 3300 to 2000 BCE.

Thank you for watching! If you know something about the islands I didn’t mention, or think I’ve gotten something wrong, please let me know in the comments below! I appreciate any and all constructive feedback and will try to address it in the next video!

Next time on History’s Eleven, we’ll be discussing the Minoans, and after that, the Mycenaeans. But until then, take care!

I have heard it always pronounce by Greeks as Key-klath-eez. By English-speaking people as Sick-la-deez.

Stop calling them Cycladic as They were Atlantean
As this area was one body of land until 1500 BC
