On a one year deal last season, this would have been a great signing for both Ronaldo and City. They lacked an out and out finisher last year, especially the in UCL. Ronaldo would have been perfect. Imagine Ronaldo scoring the game winner vs Madrid. Even if it didn’t work out, a one year deal would be done at the end of the season. But alas, we’re here lol

Pepe Guardiola's wish in 2008 was sign him for his new project, in 2009 after FCB achieved the 6 titles in row his first preference wasn't Ibra but Cr7 that United offered to refuse the deal off with Real Madrid and the Barcelonas media was dreaming with him on the squad...and last year with the City.
