Garry ridgeway, the green river killer, passed a polygraph test, that's how accurate they are, & why they aren't allowed as evidence in court

He went from homeless with no food and no warmth to a jail cell with heat, food, and pruno juice.

Homeless people don’t have much. When you steal their only valuables, they’re going to flip.

They need to rid the polygraph test but no, they get tons of money for that quack machine.

He answered 2 of those questions with an upward inflection which made his answers sound like a question. I have seen this described as a good indicator of guilt.

Polygraph test I would’ve laughed in their faces.

I know the polygraph techs believe in the technology 100% but there's a reason they're not allowed in court and really shouldn't be used. Too many innocent people found guilty and guilty people checked off completely!!

amazes me how many people talk even if your innocent dont talk.

Polygraphs are absolute garbage. It's more an intimidation factor for leverage. F*** killers, but I absolutely detest the tactics of interrogators.

even if you pass they can lie to you and say you failed if they think you did the crime just to get you to confess. Keep your mouth shut and walk out. They will stop you if they are going to arrest you otherwise be gone.

So odd the familes of the victims talked about missing them, loving them etc, yet they allowed their loved ones to be homeless and sleeping in deserted buildings.

7:37 kinda sad their family is all huddled around in their big homes talking about how they wish they could of protected him looking back on what happend but when he was alive they had him sleeping on the street

Funny how people always decide to talk to the police instead of remaining silent

I went into this with an open mind, and in the beginning some empathy. But the last shred of that went away when he described the act, and revealed they actually laid in wait for the final victim. People that "snap" usually come back to reality fairly quickly. I believe they thought about this before, probably even discussed it a few times. I wouldn't be surprised if one or both men are implicated in more attacks. A hammer and a pipe are very vicious and very personal weapons to use. Alcohol or no alcohol, he was obviously aware of what he was doing, and relishing every gory detail.

I have to wonder why the families of these homeless chaps "allowed" them to be Particularly that bit at the end where the family is reminiscing and the father said "He wasn't unhappy in what he was doing. He enjoyed his life. It was a challenge to him. I honestly believe that" - I'm not buying it.

Wild that the accused never asked for a lawyer and remained silent.

Seems like a nice enough dude just don't ever try and double cross him!

That smirk that you loved got him killed

"That smirk on his face, that's what I remember about him."
Yep, and that's what got him killed as well. Dad seems real heartbroken over his loss...
