I can only speak of NYU. NYU MS DS is 2 full years instead of 1.5 years. Well it is very rare for students to complete MSDS under 2 years. 32 credits or 12 classes in total. 6 core and 6 electives. For Fall 2021, 1800+ candidates applied, about 350 admitted, about 150 enrolled as cohort. Average: TOEFL 110, GRE percentile 80th(V) 90th(Q) 61st(W), GPA 3.87. This ranking is bogus. The fact that UC Berkeley, MIT and Harvard are not in the top 10 makes this ranking high suspect.
