In this video we look at the long bleach regrowth application in a more traditional format As opposed to the video that I made a few weeks ago about doing a long bleach in a different style using foil.

The long bleach regrowth can be the bane of some stylists day, Not properly executed can leave you with all sorts of problems White roots and yellow bands all throughout the hair this is a nightmare to correct.

properly addressed in the beginning none of that needs to happen for me one of the most underestimated services in the salon is the bleach regrowth it is an extremely challenging service.

Hi just to be clear what volume of developer did you use on roots? you mention 20 vol on cold section. Unsure of vol of developer you mix with powder bleach, I'm assuming flash lift. Thank you.

Hi James, it would be great if at some point in the future, you had the opportunity to show us how to do a complete bleaching on long hair (maybe even with Asian dark hair or from level 2-6). With a subsequent color gradient from dark gray to silver gray ... I am always unsure, whether I should first tint the bleached long hair again in order to remove the yellow / orange reflex ... and only then, after that step, finally colour the desired gray color ? Or can I ignore the yellow / orange reflex and apply the gray hair color straight away ..?

1.8 developer ? I used to find that one from Dialight activator . But since L’OREAL stopped coming to the Caribbean I don’t see it any more . We have only REDKEN, Matrix, L’ANZA and AlphaParf Can I use 10 vol instead ? Btw, Excellent technique mr. Atkinson. I loved it .
