I hope this world is as expansive as the original. Fantasy Life had such a diverse world from plains, snowpeak mountain, Puerto archipelago, deserts, the plushin village in the clouds. The island here looks so small in comparison. It's like the size of the dlc island in the original Fantasy Life

Please don't f this up, Level 5. The first one is my favorite 3DS game ever and I really hope the sequel is just as magical ❤ It does look a bit too inspired by the newest Animal Crossing with the whole island rebuilding but I guess we'll see ...

I’m a little bit worried that this is now mainly an animal crossing decoration style game, where you design the island. Me personally, I don’t care about decorating. I want a cool world to explore, like in the first fantasy life.

I'm glad to see this game is keeping the rpg combat and story from the first one, and not just being animal crossing. FFV's job system crossed with LoZ's combat is something I haven't found anywhere else, and I love the orginal for it, and greatly hope to see it expanded upon here. Here's to another few hundred hours 100% this crazy intricate game.

Fantasy life i is still my most anticipated game of this year after 10 long years Fantasy life is getting the switch sequel it deserves October can’t get here fast enough because I’m just gonna keep rewatching this trailer over and over again until 8 months pass 😭.

I'm pretty sure the 'present day' island you are on is the small customizable island.
The 'past' version is not the island itself, but a entire dimension with a bigger world (basically you can think of it as a world that disappeared in the present, or 'sank' and only a small portion remained in the present).

So terraforming isn't allowed in the past, only in the present.
