I first ate jello when I was 6yrs old. I’m 60 now, and still buy the jello cups for myself and my grandkids...they love it as I did when I was their age!

It was very difficult to watch this whole production because 2 minutes into it, I have this urge to go to the supermarket and buy a whole lot of Jello packets. I loved Jello as a kid, now in my 60s this video go me going.... (to the store)
Thank you very much, I loved it and Jello too.

Jello was the only thing you could eat at the hospital without getting sicker.

I used to eat so much jell-o as a kid. I haven't had it in ages though. Time to fix that!

Nice! I never knew Norman Rockwell did illustrations for Jell-O.

In the Jello recipe book was a pie called "Grasshopper Pie". Chocolate wafer crust, Lime Jell-O, mint extract, Dream Whip. This is still my favorite pie since I was a kid.

A Jello mold with canned fruit salad inside was always a part of our Holiday table when I was a youngster.

Jack Benny was sponsored by Jell-O back in the days of radio.

WOW:)!! I never knew that the gelatin dessert went back to the 1500s:)!! I was a child of the 70s into the 80s and I have many memories of Jello and Jello Instant Pudding cups:)!! As a Child, I did get a few stomach viruses and Salmonella once which kept me in the hospital for 2 weeks. So, during the sick times, I would eat Jello. I liked the Cherry and Strawberry Jello the best:)!! When I was feeling well, my Mom would make my favorite Instant Jello Pudding: Butterscotch Pudding:)!!! Thanks for sharing this very interesting history and so much nostalgia both in America as much as in my own Childhood:)!!

I remember when my mom would stir jello pudding in a pan on the stove with milk. You had to be very careful not to burn it. It was turn out smooth and creamy after she cooled it in the refrigerator. Now you can make it with instant pudding or buy pudding cups! After watching this video jello has progressed through the centuries & decades! 😊

As I age, I miss "the old days" more and more. I'm so glad I discovered this channel. It gives me the warm fuzzies and provides an escape from the new awful woke world. Thank you.

My mom got the recipe for the jello cake in the 70’s. Chocolate cake with cherry jello coming out of holes in the cake. Then, whipped cream to eat with it! My mom didn’t bake much so this was a treat!

I used to love the Jell-o 123. I had forgotten the name; 123, but I knew it was a Jell-o product. Thanks for reminding me. It has been about ten years since I have had Jell-o, and about 40 years since I have made it. I just added it to my shopping list.

We make chocolate cream pie with the sugar-free cook'nserve pudding, often. My wife's diabetic, and it tastes as good as the regular.
