in case you don't know, the bigger clip is heavy so when you shake your head while using the big clip, it will fall cause it is heavy. so the small clip doesn't weight that much so when you shake your head it can hold longer and won't fall.

Watching a lot in playing with them i've noticed one thing. The harder the spring the better the hold. The bigger clip had a weaker Spring, whereas that 1 has a stronger one.
