I felt like this was inspired a lot by the social justice movement of last year, especially the lines "It's not my blood, but every single day it calls my bluff". It may not be the exact reason why Josh wrote the song, but I would imagine that this would relate to the emotions a lot of were feeling last year, including myself. Either way, I'm stoked more stuff is on the way from these guys, really looking forward to hear what's next from them!

This song hit me HARD a couple nights ago when I was feeling a lot of self pity. Every lyric seemed to fit my life exactly

This song is DEFINITELY about his faith and not spreading it and witnessing to others like Christians are called to do.

This explains the chorus of the whisper in his heart and the MESSAGE in his chest…and the blood that’s not HIS but CHRISTS blood and it’s always a good time to fix (human condition/sin) and to share the gospel to others.

about "the whisper in my heart part": as someone with alot of work on their hand i can feel these lyrics i just ignore any problem and or task that i am late on doing like cleaning my room or wtv ...cuz so much has built up icant feel it its just a whisper in my heart basically
