If you want to check that given equation is homogeneous just count the individual power of given function
For example in Q-17
A) (4x +6y +5) dy - (3y +2x +4) dx =0
So power of individual
4x →1
6y→1
5→0
3y→1
2y→1
4→0
As you can see all have different power so this function is not homogeneous.

Now check this in (D)
D) y² dx + (x² - xy- y²) dy =0
So power of individual
y²→2
x²→2
xy →2 ( 1 of x and 1 of y)
y²→2
As all individuals have same power, so this function is homogeneous.
