A question I've gotten since I bought my first gheenoe is always "how stable are they?"

Thank you to all of you that have reached out via text, Instagram, and FB. Heather and I are safe from the storm. It was definitely a devastating storm for the people on the coast. We are about 10 miles inland so we had no storm surge here. Houses flooded along the coast, anywhere from 5-8’ of water in peoples homes, houses burned to the ground from electrical fires, boats are in the streets, the streets are flooded and full of sand. As bad as it is, we understand how much worse it could have been. Prayers for the big bend where Helene direct impacted. 🙏🏻

Definitely bang for the buck . Know the limitations of the boat and keep
It in its habitat backcountry . No offshore unless its glass, but you know we in florida and storms just pop up. 🙌

If it's not too much trouble, which model of trolling motor is that?I got sticker shock when running some numbers here lately.If it's an I pilot, how do you like it?Is it worth the money and the complexity involved?I think I want a simple plain one, , might consider floor mounted on/off switch

I own one, stabile, yes, it is because the hull bottom is wider than the gunnel. The boat is very wet, designed for swallow waters.

You been doing the whole interview with that stable and stick in the ground of course the boats gonna help stay still with that in the ground. Take the stable and stick out and then do the test. Let me see.
