Comparing it to my Boker Folding Hunter, the Civivi Rustic Gent and the Spyderco Native 5 LW...

I picked up my first 112 not to long ago also. I have to say that I really like it, especially for the price and USA made.

The 110 came out in 1964. Not the late 40s !

Awesome review! I also recently got into more traditional style knives and have been on a Buck kick. Love them! QC can be weak in some areas, but at least they have their warranty.

Picked one up today just to add to the collection! Such a nostalgic piece. I Can’t wait to pass it down to my kid or nephew one day! 🫡

Check out the Spitfire 722. It's about the same suze and similar profile as the native 5. The 420hc(high carbon) from buck has better corrosion and is tougher than the s30v. The s30v does hold an edge longer.

Buck you, Dave! 😀😀😀 I have a Buck 110 that's about 40 years old, and was my first hunting knife. I follow a guy named Kyle Noseworthy who does a good job of restoring old Buck folders and replacing the slabs with more modern materials. They look great. You should check out his channel.

1963 is when the 110 came out... NOT in the 40's... HC means High Carbon, AKA Steel.... God I hate Knife reviewers who FAIL to do their homework...
