Cleaning data in excel doesn't have to be difficult. With a few simple functions we can remove extra spaces in data and change the font. We will be using the following functions:

TRIM function
Removes all spaces from text except for single spaces between words.

PROPER function
This will capitalise a text string of each word and any other letters in text that follow any character other than a letter. Converts all other letters to lowercase letters.
