UW Biostatistics – Making an Impact in the World of Research

Axio Research, a company that provides data and analysis to help develop and evaluate clinical studies, was founded in 1979 by faculty from the Biostatistics and Epidemiology departments of the UW School of Public Health. Today, 30 percent of its staff are UW graduates, many of them from the Biostatistics department.
