Let's see what do I want for dinner tonight? Choice A there is the beef stew, mash potatoes and of course the banana and water, or for choice B, do I want a nice fat t bone steak, baked potato with butter, 57 sauce, worshire sauce, salt and pepper, corn on the cob and 2 large pieces of corn meal accompanied by 4 diet cokes.. You say free a few times, the irony is that you forgot to add "no freedom". Of course they need food, it's a prison sentence, not a death sentence. Of course they have a room, it comes with the shelter, aka, the prison. Of course it's payed by the tax payers. The alternative would be privately owned prisons, and that wouldn't work out. I for one would hate to have no privacy or freedom, have to eat, shower and sleep on que. In a 6m2 cell on a hard mattress and with the toilet up in your face.
