Jennifer Aniston was on “SNL” to ask Vanessa Bayer to stop doing her impression of her. She even asked her to “drop” it. Check out the “Saturday Night Live” video below.
While Bayer was doing her impression of Aniston as Rachel from “Friends,” the real Aniston came onstage during the “Weekend Update” segment and asked, “What are you doing?” She added, “Can you just drop that for a second?” Aniston then told Bayer that she knew the “SNL” star loves “Friends,” but pointed out, “‘Friends’ was like 5 million and 5 years ago.” She also asked Bayer to stop incessantly texting her.
Aniston and Bayer star in the upcoming movie Office Christmas Party. The “Friends” star noted that she enjoyed working together with Bayer, but felt the “Saturday Night Live” actress needed to stop pestering her. Aniston then did her impression of Bayer impersonating her. Bayer, of course, has repeatedly mimicked Aniston on “Saturday Night Live,” capturing her mannerisms and speech pattern from when she played Rachel on “Friends.”
While this was just a guest appearance, Aniston has hosted “SNL” twice before. She first appeared on the sketch comedy show in 1999 and then returned to host in 2004. Check out the video below of Aniston asking Vanessa Bayer to stop doing her impression of her as Rachel from “Friends” on “SNL.”
