“Crying in despair.” Most of those kids have most likely never experienced anything that would cause despair. If this is the worst they ever experience then they will absolutely be alright.

Never been told no before. When the one who occupied the building demanded food I thought "The revolution will be catered?"

As a professor, and as a graduate of Columbia University, I am embarrassed to be a professor listening to this and other Columbia faculty.

From the videos I've seen, I have to say the NYPD had every right to be there. The "protest" had descended into chaos, vandalism and lawlessness. Stop making excuses.

Apparently, these students have no concept of actions have consequences.

Haven't heard one of these virtue signalers speak about the genocides going on in China, Burma, Ethiopia or, Sudan...That makes me think this isn't really to do with Gaza/Palestinians, it's just a way for entitled kids to have something to scream about. and a way to express their true antisemitic feelings. It's a shame they don't do their homework to know the full history like who the true indigenous people of Judea(the true name of what they refer to as Palestine)are, or that Judaism is a millennium older than Islam, or that many very poor Jewish people in Europe pooled their money to buy back some of the land in Judea(that was stolen from them), or that the name Palestinian is barely over a hundred years old and describes an amalgamation of various Arabs that wanted a title for political purposes. That most other Arab countries don't allow Palestinians into their countries That Egypt also shares a walled border with Gaza.. And that Palestinian "refugees" have been on the dole from UNRWA for 80 years non-stop, even though many have Jordanian citizenship. They spew phrases without knowing the historical meaning, or geography they refer to. I just can't figure out how they got into university,

Taking over a campus building. without permission Is trespassing! It is against the law! That is not a peaceful protest! Everybody needs to sit down and like adults and listen to what the other side has to say. This so-called peaceful protest is not helping in any way. it certainly not helping in Gaza or Israel. It is just making unnecessary trouble. Sitting down in a room and all sides laying out their concerns is a better way to find solutions to your problems.

Listening to this makes me realize why students are going to be homeless unemployed adults thanks to these teachers. Save your money, parents.

The professors are crazy. The school is a school and not a political setting. They should fire the professors.

"Crying in despair?" Welcome to the Generation S (Snowflake) in college. The kind of pseudo-adults who get a windburned cheek in a strong breeze then cry "trauma" and "PTSD"...

What is happening in Gaza is NOT genocide...Israel is attempting to eliminate Hamas, not the Palestinian people...This is a professor that does not understand what genocide is...
