hey for templog alter command don't we have to change it's extension ?as its log file we will use .ldf right > but in screen it shows .mdf

Hi Manoj, just a question. After I moved these tempdb files to another location, say from default C drive to E drive, will it maintain in E or it will go back to default C whenever I get in to SSMS?.

Hi when i tried to transfer the tempdb to another drive (i followed this steps) i was logon using SA account. when i successfully transferred the tempdb to the other drive and restart the SQL Services i saw the tempdb transferred to the new target drive. Unfortunately when i close the SSMS and login again using SA account it says "Login failed for use sa (error 18456)" But when i ask someone who is also admin to logon using the SA account he successfully login and also other account except me. Any idea why this happen? thanks!

Last one should be templog.ldf not mdf
