Nice video again, man. However, I don't think that AI will replace construction workers soon. Humans are still way more reliable than machines. Especially if you take into account the constant migration of low-cost workers from third-world countries. But still, AI will definitely help in some technical aspects and logistics. In the future, however, robots may replace humans, and that's why some kind of UBI will be necessary in order to compensate for job losses.

I love how this video is based on the idea of 'AI replacing construction workers', yet one of the first clips depicts several very pricey robots hand typing on laptops. Like "ah, yes, robots replacing humans in places that doesn't make any sense".

I also love the clip of Spot dragging a single cinder block across the ground.

Automatic packaging equipment has replaced million of humans world wide for decades. Just matter of cost. The machine is making itself now. They self diagnose, and soon other machines will fix them. With gene research immortality is not far away. Computer have no true imagination yet. Man built some thing that will make man obsolete.

This is pure propaganda, AI will replace all the desk jockeys and anything that can be done effectively by an intelligent system. AI can’t replace the amount of manpower needed to finish a project from start to finish. The demand would simply outweigh the supply. Also, well organized unions would protect the workers who need constant work along with their rights

Laughable. Have you seen the robots? We’re like 100 years from the kind of robotics that can replace dexterity and detail oriented work. There’s so much shit at my job I know for sure a robot could never handle.
