Now this car is what people really need. Not giant tank looking soulless SUVs and crossovers.
Finally someone realized that with a small, compact body EV-s could be more popular. Especially with this killer design and with a funky color. Hats off to Renault.

not a Renault person, but if electric drivetrains enable automakers to re-imagine their heritage cars and put them into a modern package... i'm all for it !!!
This is a VERY good example. They were REALLY passionate about making this, and it SHOWS !!!

I genuinely haven't stopped thinking about this car since the production version was revealed, I'm totally smitten with it in that dark blue colour.

I am not an EV person at all, but this is the first EV that I want to buy immediately (only other one being the Ioniq N but the price is way too steep there). Great job Renault!

They really nailed the design with this one. If I needed a small city car, this would be on top of the list. Such a cool look in yellow.

My dad had the original R5 when I was a kid in the 70s. Great to see it reincarnated as an EV. It certainly looks the business!

Love that green! Not a green shade you see much on cars. The overall design is nostalgic, and modern at the same time. Wish it would come visit the USA.

People may complain. But I love how a funky car like this is here in 2024. With a good enough range, I would buy, even if I don’t, I’m glad it exists and I’ll smile if I see one

Renault absolutely nailed it with this car, fab looks and fair value in EV terms. It looks to be a good balance of style and practicality as well as referencing the past while looking modern and not like a cartoon. Be great if they introduced a slightly sportier variant between this and the Alpine, a 5 GT with 170-180 bhp would be awesome.
