The structure in the video was a building from the 19th-century Guano act and the only thing that remains of the island.

First of all it is off of the eastern coast of Australia. And all of the marks and grooves on the island are from mining guano (bird poop) for fertilizer. And the “thing” you pointed out is the ruins of a structure made of stones built back when the island was settled by guano miners a century ago!
