I tried to pass json object to lambda thru integration request mapping template, but can't access the object inside lambda function. Any solution from your end would be highly appreciated.

i can't figure this out for EC2. keeps failing with "Execution failed due to configuration error: API Gateway does not have permission to assume the provided role". can't you simplify this?

Hello,
I tried following along with your tutorial but when I clicked the link from the trigger the JSON that was displayed said "Missing Authentication Token". Do you know why this happened? I noticed that my lambda function is in us-east 1 -- could that be the issue? I don't know how to resolve this issue.

what is the need of stages if they both execute the same lambda function? what if I update my function (still with errors), producction stage will still execute this new version which im not sure is going to work 100%

This should be re-done for the new GUI. Or you can tell your front end developers to just stop changing things.

In my opinion you are speaking too fast for something too new for programmers to use these new technologies/approaches such as AWS lambda functions, AWS api and so on.
