Izzi ft. Joss Stone - Malaysia

Good memories from our visit to Malaysia. We met up with the lovely artist Izzi and did a little singing together about nature, ironically whilst a storm was happening in the background. It was a perfect moment and was great to spend some time with her.

The Total World tour is a superb concept. I've listened & watched as they appear. Joss Stone does a great service to the artists & their songs. The degree of respect she manifests for them & her humility is so refreshing. Singing in the native tongue is especially wonderful. Dig it!

this music project makes me wonder how the music aesthetics from these different countries has connected so tightly. i can feel some similarities and dialogues. i imagine it has something to do with pop culture, globalization and its related issues. but some romantic part of me wants to believe there's something that connects us all human in a deeper way.
