What's terrifying is, magicians actually swallow their sword. It won't curl backwards but, they actually do it. After alot of practicing, they put their head straight up and swallow it. It's not a trick but, it's an absolute skill after alot of training... It's not fake. But, still you can fake if you want.

Fun fact: when magicians are swallowing swords they are actually swallowing them. But, they go through a lot of training because when they swallow it they make sure to dodge their vital organs so they don't harm themselves.
