Those 8” speakers are woofers not subwoofers.

Excellent speakers. I've had them for about 1.5 years now and i really like them.

Great punchy bass given their size, i was surprised by the power, i use them in a smaller room and you can really feel the bass. And they sound great too, nice and clear highs and good midrange, for my music taste at least. I listen to oldschool house, trance, techno, rave and also some 90s hip-hop.

So if you have a smaller room and like electronic music/hip hop then these are really recommended.

I have a set of D-9's and a set of D-5's and am totally impressed with the sound of these"little" SL-8"!!!

These speakers can rattle the windows. Don’t know many people who listen to music that loud.

Looks like your woofer cone caps are pushed in? Maybe just the camera angle?

Speakers like those need to be ran on a 2 channel amp for music for full ability. Home theater are designed for use with a sub. You can't get the bass from a home theater setup

8 inch speakers cannot produce real sounding bass they just dont push enough air to feel it around you in the room
