It's truly sad when a "dealer" or content creator who makes money selling watches can't get out of their own head and circumstance and look at a watch NOT for it's monetary intrinsic value or worse specifically resale purpose. A birth year watch may very well and RIGHTLY be the BEST watch possible for THAT person. Because THAT person values having an item that was created at the same time they were... More than they value the overall quality of the watch. And that's not wrong, FOR THEM. And OBVIOUSLY a person is going to get the best available watch of that year if that's the case.
