when I was around 7, I went to a big sleepover and they had those cereal straws in the morning. I was last in line to get one and they ran out. my mom was super granola, and I never saw them again. this story made my boyfriend incredibly sad, and we ended up seeing the straws at 5 below the other day. he RAN to grab them and avenge my childhood, and they're pretty damn good. bonus points for being old enough to drink bailey's through 'em lol

Gudetama is an egg based character thats from Sanrio, not necessarily anime. they do have animes based around sanrio characters, but theyre more like children mascots than anything. the most iconic sanrio character is probably Hello kitty. ( not mean intentions lol im just heavily into sanrio )

I think it's important to note that harissa is a popular spice from the Middle East and North Africa. It's quite rare to eat Mediterranean food that includes this ingredient, and if you find it in this region, it is more likely due to it being introduced by North Africans and folks from the Middle East. It's similar to the use of soy sauce in the United States. It's inherently Asian, was introduced, Americans may use it, but it's still understood to be an Asian-derived ingredient.
