Tennessee woman charged in murder-for-hire scheme | Morning in America

Tennessee officials say a woman has been charged after she tried to hire a hit man to kill the new wife of a man she’d met on a dating site. Former FBI agent Jennifer Coffindaffer says she’s seen cases like this “all the time” and it should make for an “easy” case to be charged.

If the man is engaged, why did he keep his profile active on that dating website? Why didn’t he delete his profile after he got engaged? Why did he talk to other women after he got engaged? Apparently, he’s a cheating player. An innocent woman could get killed because of his selfishness. I hope his fiancée breaks up with him. She deserves a better trustworthy man.

She looks like a nice woman, you’d never suspect she was crazy and violent like that. And she loves the outdoors, why would she risk her freedom for some guy who decided he wasn’t into her?! Just walk away, find someone else. Glad the innocent woman wasn’t harmed. Now we know why the dude bailed out of the relationship with Sasser, he obviously picked up in some issues.

Couldn't ignore the FBI agent saying "she was just emotional...". Would that both men and women were judged by the same rules. When does a man kill someone and get some deflection of responsibility because "he was just emotional?" Glaring inconsistencies do not instill faith in the law.

This is a woman who sets goals and reaches them, as per her mountaineering photos. A very tenacious and goal-oriented person. So she set her goal to get this guy and put her plan into motion to remove obstacles and attain her goal. Scary. Like Fatal Attraction. She had everything going for her, she was tough, pretty, ambitious, had a lovely smile, young, White, and in a land of opportunities. She threw all that away on the basis of s sickly ;obsession with one man. Sheesh. Stupid.

That's so sad. This woman could have been murdered because of the "friendship" her husband started. She had nothing to do with their situation and yet SHE becomes the target vs the man. Just heartless. Let's hope she leaves

She was willing to risk her freedom and spend $10, 000 to kill the fiance of a love interest.
Even if the hit was a success and she got away with it there's no guarantee of a relationship between her and him.

These women are out of their minds. Reminds me of the USA astronaut Lisa Nowak when she tried to kill her competition in a love triangle or that skydiving love triangle where the one female skydiver rigged her love rivals parachute so it wouldn’t work and she fell to her to death from an airplane.
